Dear ones, There hae been several excellent posts that we could not send

through, because they were unedited. Please, please edit your posts. We want

to read what you have to say, but, especially for the sake of our digest

readers, we must insist that you take the time to edit propperly.

1. When replying. If you have your setting set so that the message to which

you are replying is fully quoted, you will need to highlight those parts of

the previous messsage that aren't relevant, and get rid of them. And will

also have to remove the onelist stuff at the bottom, just like you had to do

on listservice.net.

Digest readers. You cannot quote, and then forward the entire digest. (just

consider. If you do that, you will get a digest containing the entire previous

digest!) So, I suggest that you highlight the part you want to respond to,

copy it, do a new message, write what you want to say, then paste the short

quote from the previous digest on the bottom of your post.

Again. Never, ever, under any circumstances, leave the onelist stuff at the

bottom of a message to which you are replying. We will immediately delete it.

I know some of you are new to mailing lists, to the internet, and to

computers, and yes, we all have to learn. but I am seeing this sort of thing

from people who have been on this list (and I mean the old one) longer than I

have!

So, if you want your valuable information on the list--as we do--please PLEASE

edit!
