A collaborative Research Study between University of California, San Francisco,

USA and St. ’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, entitled “Examining

Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) adherence issues in Bangalore, India” announces

the availability of the following requirements.

Counselors / Interviewers (3)

Job Profile

To conduct in-depth interviews with patients & family members and healthcare

providers as per set protocol and interview schedule.

To conduct survey interviews with patients and family members.

Transcribing the taped interviews.

Assist in the quality control of the translations to respective regional

languages

To assist in recruitment, Scheduling and tracking the study participants.

To provide brief crisis counseling as needed.

To facilitate focus group discussions.

Required skills and qualifications

Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences.

Strong communication and documentation skills

Proficiency in Kannada and Tamil (2) or Telugu (1)

Preferred

One- two years Experience in research and data collection

Experience in healthcare setting.

Salary: Between Rs.10,000 and 12,000 as per qualification and experience
