Guest guest
I'm also curious about letting your soap cure..I've made a number of different recipes recently but never leave the bars to cure, I just wrap them in saran wrap. Seems o.k. so far. I like to use a white glycerin soap instead of purchased bars of soap like Ivory in the hand milled soap recipes. The bars of soap seam firmer/harder than using ivory. I made a recipe for hand milled soap and used both Ivory and white glycerin to see which I liked better. I put tea bag leaves in this recipe and the leaves stayed evenly throughout in the resulting bar of soap but when I used white glycerin the leaves just sunk to the bottom (top)! Also, can anyone tell me why the leaves turn brown? I've used mint leaves, tea bag leaves, and lavender flowers and all three times the bars were ruined. (Very ugly!)
