Bromelain might be a wonder drug, but the fruit is not bad. There's other stuff in the fruit. Now papaya is another story - very good for digestion and the fresh fruit seems to be a lot better than the papain pills for digestion. IMO, it's the fruits that help the "digestion" not a specific chemical. I usually eat both for breakfast. And guava. Just my take. Regards.
