I was in a Body Shop the other day (funny, I found it no longer has the

attraction it did for me in my pre " eo " and " fo " days). The eos smelled

" flat " , " limp " , " weak " , " pale " is the only way I can describe it. The

sandalwood smelled like it came from someone throwing slough water on an old

wood fire...not the rich warm heady scent I love. The rose just didn't make

it, it didn't even start...don't know how else to describe it. The lavender

really seemed " thin " and " pale " in smell. I'm used to Bulgarian

.......question...at the body shop it was officianalis (think that is spelled

right)....is it just the plant type as with the lavender that makes the

difference? I was struck with how very, very, very different the quality of

the scents were. (I know, I've heard this discussed before but it is the

first time I have smelled any eos which were not from list suppliers and I

am rather stunned by the experience).
