We are happy to announce a first state level annual meet for people living with HIV/AIDS in Surat. As you know that GSNP+ (Gujarat State Network of People Living with HIV+) is a non profit community based organization. This organization is formed of, by and for people living with HIV/AIDS. GSNP+ is a part of INP+. The meet will be held on 6th February, 2005 (second anniversary of GSNP+). We are expecting about 300 HIV positive people from all over Gujarat. We are also going to organize a CD4 and CD8 count check up camp with this meet. This camp will be attempt for the first time in all over India. The camp will be organized jointly by GSNP+ and Lok Samarpan Trust, Surat. A rally is also planned with the aim to advocate free ARV for HIV/AIDS patients in the state of Gujarat and to promote treatment without stigma and discrimination. During 7 February 2005 to 10 February 2005 Training for Trainers (TOT) is also organized for the representatives from all the districts of Gujarat. The resource person for this training will be management unit of Gujarat known as Project Support Unit. We welcome your suggestions and comments for the same. Thanking you.
