Guest guest
I recently received a free sample of emu oil from Brown in Colmesneil, TX, and want to make a simple acne treatment oil. Now I am not the most creative person, so I would appreciate some knowledgeable people to tell me if I'm 'all wet'. Since oily skin seems to be the most acne-prone, I thought I'd formulate the treatment for oily skin (which just happens to be what I have). I thought I'd mix jojoba oil, emu oil, vitamin E oil, rosemary EO, peppermint EO, and tea tree EO at a 7/2/1/1/1/1 ratio. I also thought about using some carnauba or candellila wax to make it into a salve. Any feedback (pro or con) would be greatly appreciated.
