Dear Mr. Sharma and other Forum members,

Yes, indeed it is a matter of Great concern, We must Focus on Women empowerment

in terms of HIV/AIDS. Today, we all know that almost 42% to 45 % of the HIV

infection is among the women groups/folks. Thus, it is an immediate need of the

hour to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS among all segments of women group i.e

state level, district level and village/community level. I also feel that as we

generate awareness among the women groups, simaltaneously, providing adequate

services along with Awareness generation also becomes very very important.

Because unless and untill there are adequate services made available to the

masses there is no point generating awareness among them.

I appreciate the kind of work which you and your Project is implementing all

through out our nation. Projects of such line are very very important at this

time in India so that we do not face the problems as faced by Africa. I hope

that other agencies also must come up with similar projects in which all the

states are being given the importance instead of focussing only on high

prevelance states.
