Position: Integrated Behavioral Change Communication Specialist (IBCCS)

sexual health. The organization is focused on enabling the poor to lead healthy

lives, through the informed use of health products and services.

PSI manages a number of integrated reproductive health programmes across the

country, addressing HIV/ AIDS prevention, family planning and maternal and child

health

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Behavior Change Communication Strategies for the successful implementation of

HIV/AIDS/ STI interventions

Technical assistance on all BCC matters

Training in interpersonal communication to Implementing Partner staff, including

counselors, outreach workers and peer educators

Developing and dispatching BCC materials on time, which shall include

overseeing approvals and production of material

On-going quality assurance of BCC activities, etc.

Assist management teams to ensure that critical information of behavior change

is collected and used for program development?

Provide recommendations as and when required based on field visits

Desired Profile of the Candidate:

Post graduate with specialization in Advertising/ Mass communications/ Social

Sciences /Education and or equivalent from a reputed institution.

Plus five years relevant experience in the areas of behavioral

change/communication.

Exposure to social marketing interventions and or HIV/AIDS related

programmes are must.

Development of BCC, IEC materials considering local requirements, would be an

advantage.

Very strong oral and written communication skills

Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills

Excellent documentation abilities

Ability to work and contribute in a team

Proficiency in word processing and analytical computer skills

Willingness to travel extensively

Desired Work Exp: Min 5 years Max 8 years
