Guest guest
Dominic D'Souza was not a homosexual While the filim 'My Brother Nikhil' has won wide acclaim for its portrayal of the trauma and tribulations of an HIV positive and later an AIDS infected swimming champion, it still unfortunately has ended up causing extreme hurt and agony to his close friends and to Positive People, the organisation he founded. Though no protests have been heard, there is dismay that Nikhil has been portrayed as a homosexual when Dominic D'Souza was far from being one. Guest guest
Dear forum, I did not personally know Dominic D'Souza but I know people who were his close friends. For example, Shyamla Natarajan, a well known activist, journalist and a highly esteemed social worker talked to me about her association with him. Whatever, I could gather from her, Dominic was loved and liked by his friends extremely. I only watched him in an episode of News Track and think it is impossible not to do that. He had such charm and charisma, such honesty and simplicity! It is no wonder that people are hurt if he is portrayed differently. And it is a better practice to varify the truth before writing or saying something.
