I am just getting to the emails regarding your request for physicians

prescribing LDN. As in the case of others ,I am hesitant to give my Drs name

for

several reasons. He is not a neurologist and had no knowledge of the drug

until

I supplied him with web site,etc I felt like he gave me the script as

something of a personal favor.However,if you have a request from anyone in

the

vicinity of New Orleans I would be happy to talk to my doc (a urologist) to

see

if he was willing.

Hi Mark, I fully understand your reluctance but I'm not exactly sure that

most of the people that are still searching for a prescribing physician will

care one bit how much that doc knows about the LDN. It is a proven fact that

most of them don't know as much as we do about it anyway. When I went to see

my new doctor, I basically had the mindset that I was just looking for

someone to prescribe. I like to think that all of us pretty much come under

the heading of something new, it's called the " expert patient " . I like to

think that is what I am now. I treat my health as something that I have

total control over in regards to me doing my own research and working with

my doctor to come to a mutually agreeable treatment plan based not only on

what he wants me to do but as a collaborative effort. So you see, my doc did

not have to know about it at all. I would teach him and teach him I did. I

was lucky in that he was very receptive to anything I had to say which is

why I like him so much. I know, rare huh? Well I recorded your name and

e-mail addy and will contact you if need be but you might try approaching

him about it at your next visit. I know that several people are a little

skittish about involving their docs this way but believe me, they are grown

people and will do what they want to do so why not take that chance? My

thoughts about the whole thing anyway. Thanks for the response. JoyceF
