Before I ever came into the house, I filled the wild bird feeders and loaded our wood burning furnace with wood. I hope everyone had a wonderful day, as I did. The whole day was spent with my Dad and animals. We shared our gifts, relax, and watched TV. At 5:30 I left to visit my Spirit Sister for the evening. I am the only family she has left. Again, we relaxed but watched DVDs; the latest Harry Potter, Santa Clause III with Tim , and Happy Feet. Harry was great, Santa was ok, but Happy Feet was precious. When you spend time with your loved ones, it makes the experience beautiful. It lightens the heart, which in turns lightens the body, and helps you to tune into Spirit. So my wish for the coming New Year for All of You is "Lots of True Love!" I spent my day with the kids and my grandchildren. I started cooking by 9am, and didnt finish till it was 1, I made salmon, shrimp and scallops, that was the easy part, the apple pie from scratch was time consuming, the stuffed mushrooms and the breaded vegies were too, and scalloped potatoes. But it was tasty, and that is what my daughters wanted, so I made them happy. Giving my grandson and the kids their presents was the highlight of the day. My 4yr old grandson loved his little bike, his grandpa wrapped it so it was fun for him to open it. So its over and that is good for me too. New years, I am not cooking! take it easy and enjoy your day after christmas!
