WANTED A TRAINING OFFICER

Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi

Resource Center for Sexual Health and HIV, New Delhi (British High

Commission) and Christian Medical College, Vellore has recognized

Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and Associated Hospitals as

Regional training center for Fellowship in HIV Medicine, a distance

learning programme for medical officers for Northern India. For this

a dynamic, computer savvy Training Officer is urgently required to

co-ordinating and run the course.

Anyone having the following qualifications may send her/his

Professor, Course co-ordinators, Department of Community Medicine,

Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi –2 with Curriculum Vitae.

Qualifications:

Post graduate degree in Social Sciences/Nursing/Public Health/Mass

Communication/Public Administration with background in Education or

experience in training and having a good working knowledge of

computers.

Skills required: (1) Office, computer skills and communicating by e-

mail; (2) People skills; being able to work faculty and student;

networking skills; (3) Background in higher education would be

useful, (4) Meticulousness in maintaining systems and schedules.

Responsibilities: To assist the course organizer and core team in

the following aspects:

(1) To be able to run the office systems for the Fellowship in HIV

Medicine;

(2) To be able to coordinate the practical aspects of the:

(a) Selection (advertisement, receiving applications, marking,

selection meeting),

(B) Contact programmes (planning, scheduling

arranging sessions, accommodation, food and transportation,

coordinating with the faculty, preparation of materials),

© Distance learning course (sending modules, receiving TMA's,

arranging marking, sending back marked TMA's),

(d) Project work (coordinating review of project outline, full project plan,

project interim reports, final project reports, arranging site visits and

documentation),

(e) E- group and individual student communication,

(f) Maintaining documentation and student data base,

(g) Planning and coordinating the assessments and evaluation.

(3) To coordinate with respective core team members and faculty in running the

Fellowship in HIV Medicine.

Project Duration : 3 years and 6 months

Attractive remuneration based on experience.
