It was my understanding that DS kids tend to crave starches & meat over

fruits & vegetables.

Sheila's favorite food is salad. She also frequently starts her day with a

pickle to wake up her mouth and a tossed salad. Then she has a more traditional

breakfast food item. She would eat a tossed salad at every meal if given half

a chance--but we keep running out of lettuce.

I did always think of amanda as the queen of chips- but give her a piece of

chocolate....

ya know something interesting- even though she has celiac disease with an

allergy to wheat and gluten, she never ate bread or pizza in her whole life.

I

find that quite interesting.

Mac is definitely a starch food fan--breads, pizza, pasta, bread, fries...

Kit hasn't shown a strong preference yet...she'll eat most things.

Sheila prefers salty--although as she has gotten older she has begun to enjoy

a few sweet foods. She has 2 pickles almost every breakfast. LOL

is a good eater including fruits and veggies. His

favs are cheeseburger and pizza. We can't keep sodas in the

house or he would drink them all in a day or two. This

morning he got up ahead of me and I caught him trying to

finish off some cookies for breakfast. He also LOVES chips

especially Doritos or cheese puffs. He has had a thing for

BBQ chips lately.
