I got myself a neti pot just after xmas, as i had a sudden blocked feeling inside my right eardrum..is was horrible as it distorted my hearing.

I am quite pleased with the process, my nose feels nice and clean afterwards, plus the ear has gradually improved.

I also use a saltpipe.
