Hi ,

Try this:

http://www2.mdanderson.org/depts/oncolog/pdfs-issues/06/oncolog2-

06.pdf

Sometimes you need to copy it in two sections if it breaks up.

The original link didn't work because there was a period at the end

of the link so you can just remove that period and it should work.

Take care,

Tracey

If you remove the period from the end of the link it will work.

Very interesting article.

I am responding to this email with prior experience. Done by Harvard's

Woman's Medical center for CML/Gleevec study in 2003 I was tested over a period

of two years. Their findings were that I was cognitively impaired and probably

something that was permanent. It studied CML therapy and memory retention

where I had to memorize strings of words and repeat them, then my reflexes with

a computer test, pushing buttons as words and numbers flashed upon a screen,

and they studied how fast my response would be. They said I had failed one

part, but was still able to perform tasks at a reasonable rate. I want you to

know that I had also had Interferon/ARAC treatment prior and that may have

had some impact upon results.

This was most likely a direct result of impairment from that treatment and

with Gleevec following right after that. I wish I could have you contact the

researcher but I have forgotten her name. I hope this helps you in some way to

understand that they are trying to find out through research if we are

impaired and there might possibly be some study out there that they are still

conducting. I would contact Harvard Medical School in Boston if you want more

info. - Lynne A.
