Hi,

I had som e rash and dry skin the very first month on Gleevec, but it stopped

after some time..Try to use some moisturiser for your dry skin, thats what my

doctor suggested to me.

Cheers,

Kaqi

Hi, I also went on Gleevec in Nov. and 4 weeks ago I got a huge rash

all over my face and upper chest and back some on my arms my onc.

wasn't quite sure if it was from the Gleevec. He told me to go off the

Gleevec for 10 days and see if the rash goes away. I then went to the

dermatologist who said it looks like a drug interaction, he wasn't sure

either. He put me on a cream called Triamc cr/menth/lubriderm. My onc.

said if it didn't go away he would put me on the Medrol pack, which is

like prednisone I think. with in the 10 days the rash went away and i

went back on the Gleevec. I've had a few small rashes since but they

seem to go away when i put the cream on. Hope this helped a little.
