I have to admit I am a bit nervous about not taking the meds, but I know it is for a good reason. MDACC will not be doing any PCRs or BMA until after delivery, there reasoning is that they won't treat it anyway. So I'll be monitoring my WBCs and Platelets and that we will treat with Hydrea<sp> and whatever else they say. (thought the Gleevec made you tired? Get pregnant, you'll beg to be back on Gleevec, <smile>) I have had weekly ultrasounds and the baby looks as good as it can right now. Keep us in your prayers and you are all always in mine. Praying for a Thanksgiving baby! WOOHOO. Love you all, Amy B.

Guest guest
Dear AMY, Im so HAPPY about you! You really gave me hope that I should try to the same thing! In two weeks time Im going to have more in depth analysis about the percentage of cancer cells in my blood, if everything looks good than I will talk to my Onc about the opportunity of getting pregnant. I really would love to have a baby. I was diagnosed with CML right after few months of our first annyversary, and we were shocked, I was very sad cause the doctor clearly said to me that I can not get pregnant. But by reading about other peoples experiences Im more than willing to go though everything just to be able to hold my baby in my arms. I will be praying for you and your baby and for all on this list for their courage and strength to fight for life. Love, Arta Amy <aimesc31@...> wrote: Hey everyone, just wanted to update you all.
