Guest guest
Chris- I have the same thing you described. I usually wear a ponytail cause I cant stand my hair on my skin now but I have really bad days where it is very tender even to touch. Pushing on my scalp its sensitive. I have also lost all the pigmentation of my hair. Was strawberry blonde now platinum White/blonde. Looks really weird and people ask me about it all the time since it has been going in without pigment in it. Its too long of a conversation so I just tell them " thank you. " Its never been brought up by my doctors as a symptom but I know other CMLers have talked about this before. Nope, you are not loosing your mind. I have it too. 35 CML 5/13/05 Gleevec 800mg Wife and mom to 3 (11,8,6) ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
I use Aveeno as well but I wash his hair with a baby hair brush and that seems to take care of the flaking. I was a little concerned at first about it making him sore being to rough, but it must tickle because he giggles while I am doing it. My daughter Lily (5 months toady) has been in her Starband for a week now and everything has been going smoothly, but her head as of today has started to get a little " flakey " . I have been using the Aveno baby shampoo, but is there anything else anybody recommends? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!! > > Kari in CA. > > > --------------------------------- > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
I think the brush has a lot to do with it. We use Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap shampoo - we got it at Target (has Winnie the Pooh on the front) and it works in 24 hours on my daughter. Plus the scent lingers which has helped with that helmet smell. > > Hello everyone, > > I am new to the group and have enjoyed reading all the questions and answers and the encouragment that has been going on.
