Dear

I have been a chiropractor in Oregon for 32 years. Many of the doctors on

the listserve know me and know that I am a Scientologist.

I think you missed some key information in your last posting. First of all,

if anyone wants information regarding Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard, you

can go to www.scientology.org or www.lronhubbard.org. Also, in Portland

there are two locations where one can obtain first hand information. The

Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre is downtown Portland and the Church

of Scientology of Portland on Sandy Blvd. Call them, their phone numbers are

502-228-0116 and 503-963-8121.

It's not just Tom Cruise talking about Scientology. In the Rose Festival the

Church had its first float and for two weeks recently, the Volunteer

Ministers of the Church of Scientology were helping people at Pioneer

Square.

You also mentioned Hollander Consultants in your message. Well, I am a

client of Hollander Consultants and have been for 20 years. I know they've

got clients all over the U.S. and Canada.

Hollander Consultants is located in downtown Portland and has been in

business for over 22 years. They were recently named as one of the 100 best

companies to work for in Oregon by the Oregon Business magazine.

They exclusively use L. Ron Hubbard's management systems. Let's look at this

objectively. For a company to stay in business for over 5 years is

difficult. But they've been in business for over 20. If what they sold

didn't work, they would have no clients at all in a short period of time.

I know many, many successful doctors who have used Hollander Consultants.

You can learn more about them at www.hollanderconsultants.com or

www.hollander-consultants-success.com.

As a matter of fact, I'll take this opportunity to recommend you hire them

as well.

Anyway, sorry to be so long-winded but I felt it necessary to clear up some

misunderstandings. And anyone can e-mail me for my own experienes with

Scientology.

Well, we can all go back to serving our patients now. Dan Beeson DC DABCI

Dan,

Thanks for your reasoned response.

A lot of people have specific problems with Scientology which can be found

all over the internet.

As I mentioned in my best Seinfeldese:

>> NOT that there's anything wrong with it. "

It would appear that Scientology is antithetical to Christianity so that's

one litmus test.

Other value systems will have to work through it point by point.

(I heard a tape of Tom Cruise's interaction with Matt Lauer. Tom was so

aggressive and condescending, that I would have felt compelled to pull his

jersey over his head and beat the crap out of him. In a collegial fashion.

HAHA!)

By the way, if Tom and are so clear, why couldn't they stay married?

And furthermore, how could you have been a chiropractor here for 32 years

when you are only 39 years old? Does the board know about this?
