INP+ Chennai requires a project coordinator to work for the APCASO (Asia Pacific

Council of AIDS Service Organizations) supported program with NGOs and CBOs on

India Initiative Community based Advocacy and Networking to scale up HIV

prevention Along side Expanding Treatment Access.

Job Profile

The Project Coordinator will:

* Design, in consultation with APCASO, annual project work plan and budget

* Coordinate input from beneficiaries/ stakeholders (grassroots groups, local

NGOs/CBOs, etc)

* Implement project work plan as agreed. Specific activities and tasks will

include:

o Conduct/ coordinate needs assessments/ baseline information

o Coordinate events and meetings (overall logistics coordinator)

o Coordinate development of IEC materials (in consultation with Country Advisory

Team, APCASO)

o Coordinate and participate in meetings/ conference calls of Country Advisory

Team

o Monitor process and outputs, participate in evaluation and planning meetings

o Promote the project among other stakeholders and facilitate the identification

of technical and financial resources

Required skills and experience

o Post graduate in social science or relevant field

o Minimum of five years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS

o Experience of working with Govt, NGO and other primary and secondary

stakeholders

o Written and spoken fluency in Tamil and English

o Willing to travel within Tamil Nadu.
