LAWYERS Collective ­– HIV/AIDS Unit – Project Office (PO), Delhi – is

seeking personnel for the following posts:

LEGAL OFFICER: Law graduate, in-depth knowledge legal, medical, ethical,social

issues arising out of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in India. Sensitivity to a broad

range of issues arising out of the HIV/AIDS epidemic – 2 years work experience

in legal practice in the courts on public interest issues/ HIV/AIDS. Experience

should indicate competency in project management and the NGO sector in India -

Computer literacy essential – Fluency in English and Hindi and local language.

ADVOCACY OFFICER: Degree in Law ­– Knowledge & sensitivity to broad range of

issues arising out of the HIV/ AIDS epidemic in India with particular emphasis

on legal & ethical issues. Good communication & facilitation on skills –

Experience with NGOs & public interest issues – Willing to do field work with

affected communities – Comprehensive computer literacy essential.

Fluency & communication skills in English, Hindi & any other local language.
