Guest guest
Hi Carolyn I am on Sprycel 20mg myself and I called my Dr. yesterday because I am experiencing the exact same things. My joints have been really been bothering me and I have been sleeping a lot since I started the Sprycel. I spoke with his assistant and waiting on a reply from my dr. I have tried Gleevec and Sprycel, and having problems tolerating both. carolyn_kuptz <carolyn_kuptz@...> wrote: Dear Group I have been on Sprycel with wonderful results since August. I am experiencing joint pain and fatique. Am wondering if any of you experience this. This could also be be a left over from a bout with the shingles. That was just a little insult to injury - no fun. My onocologist told be to be sure to drink enough. He suggested Gatorade. Any feed back would be appreciated carolyn --------------------------------- Got a little couch potato? Check out fun summer activities for kids. Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, I too take Sprycel and am doing wonderfully well. However, I sleep a lot and just a few days ago a thyroid test revealed that my " numbers " whatever they are called for Thyroid are way out of whack. So I see an endocrinologist on Monday. But m,y onc as seen the test results and thinks I'll probably just get a common drug used for thyroid conditions like mine. So, you could get a thyroid test (blood). As fopr joint pain, I get it once in awhile and use topical treatments (OTC) or use those OTC patches that have topical icy hot goo soaked into them. They last about 8 hours and do work. There are some other products on the market that are basically supplements and I do know that a combination of MSM, glucosamine sulfate and another ingredient I've forgotten now does help. If you go to a supplement store where the staff knows what they're talking about this might help. Good luck, Re: [ ] joint pain and fatique my husband is on lyrica and amitriptlyn and it works very well, the side effect is dizziness, fuzzy thinking and double vision.karen carolyn_kuptz <carolyn_kuptz@...> wrote: Dear Group I have been on Sprycel with wonderful results since August.
