Guest guest
For those on disability and trying make ends meet, I suggest you check and see if there's a place that offers Angel Food packages. For $25, you get enough food to feed a family of 4 for a week. I've been able to make it last much longer than a week. Here is the website, to check your location. They also have good deals on steaks, etc. http://angelfoodministries.com/ Barbara Hundley My Personal Assistant Fayetteville, GA Tel: 678-817-6805 Fax: 678-884-8186 <http://www.my-personal-assist.com> www.my-personal-assist.com
Guest guest
I have done Angel food Ministries before. You do get a good bargin. The only thing is it is for a family of 4 and the food supposedlyis enough for 1 week. Well with it just beeing Blake & Myself, we managed to buy 2 boxes of food for $60.00 and we had plenty for a month. There are other options if you buy one menu box then you can get a different variety of boxes for about 10$. We were able to get the Fruit & veggie box for 18.00. The milk they offered us was SOy. That was good for Blake...he cannot have dairy. Hope this helps Mom to Blakester, 16(will be 17 , 2 weeks from tomorrow.....HELP!!!! You can find either one usually by just enetering share food or angel food in your search engine. Becky In IN-mom to Maddie, CVID, gerd, asthma...... .age 12 and a half! Guest guest
Maybe because we don't eat beef but I always thought AFM is over priced and there selections don't seem to be the healthiest. I can buy the same stuff for the same prices or less at the grocery store but then I don't tend to shop the major stores like Vons or Albertsons because there way over priced. I find way better deals at the smaller mom and pop type grocery stores and ethnic markets. For example we use a lot of bone less, skin less chicken breasts which are normally $3.99lb here and $1.89 is a very good sale price for this town. How ever we drive into the city 1-2 a month where they have lots of smaller markets and I know I can get the same thing for as low as $1.39lb when its on sale. Onions are usually .99 cents lb or higher but they regularly go on sale at the Mexican markets at 6lb/$1. I usually spend 1 day a month and do enough shopping for the whole month then a couple quick trips locally for something here and there but I think for someone who doesn't know all the tricks to shopping it would probably seem like a really good deal.
