Guest guest
Hi , I've heard that Effexor is a great drug for all the reasons you've listed (and more) but I was under the impression that it interacted with Gleevec. I checked http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html and it says that there's a moderate drug interaction between the two. Did your doctor discuss this at all? Guest guest
Hi Tracey and , I've taken Effexor for years as an antidepressant. I'm on Sprycel now but for four years + I was on 800 mg Gleevec. Also, my Effexor dosage was 150 mg. So you have lower dosages of both, . I have NEVER had any interaction or problem taking both drugs simultaneously. Perhaps this will help put your minds at ease. Cheers!
