Guest guest
Sounds pretty darn good to me, Kim! Keep up the great work! Rita Perfect Week: JUL 2 Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday! How is your second day going? I was so proud of myself at having gone through yesterday without a single problem! No sneaky bites, no random handfuls of this, no straying outside of my plan, and I felt GREAT! I used to get the munchies so badly when I got home, early to late eveningtime was when I did my most damage. So Monday I started taking my flax oil at around 5pm, and I had NO food cravings at all during my danger times. I think I will try this again today. Other than that, workouts are going well, and I'm feeling good, happy, and healthy! Details from the rest of ya now! How's the perfect week going? -- gnat! Gnat's plan: Excercise: UBWO (done, and dare I say, *ow*) - Oatmeal with protein powder, brown sugar twin, SF maple syrup - Leftover chili from last night's dinner, baby carrots - Cottage Cheese with peach slices - Chicken breast with 1/2 portion each potato and pineapple + flax - Chocolate caramel gnatcake - Tuna, brown rice, FF cheese, broccoli

Guest guest
How do you double the meat? Don't they just charge you for 2 sandwiches? Guest guest
> How do you double the meat? Don't they just charge you for 2 sandwiches? When you order, just ask for double meat or extra meat. Personally if I go to a sandwich place, I prefer Togos, only because they give you more meat in their sandwiches. If I go to Subway though, I get the 4 " turkey sandwich with triple meat and it does cost quite a bit extra, but at least it's better ratios. Colleen PS And I'm so bad I even ask them to please wipe off the knife that is already glopped with mayo before starting on my sandwich...can't stand mayo <G>

Guest guest
Okay, I have a walking question. I have a treadmill that I use at home and I swear, I can not run on it. If I do, I will fall off. I walked outside Saturday morning and did the wind sprints. I couldn't believe how far I could actually run. What should I do? Should I try running the tread? I don't think I am reaching my 10's when I use it. Guest guest
How was the Bridge game and how did you do? Rita Re: Perfect Week: JUL 2 So far so good for me. I really had the urge to sneak something yesterday, but I didn't. Today has been fine so far. Tonight will be a test. I am playing Bridge with some of my mom's friends and they always have snacks and dessert. Send me the " eat right " vibes please! Yesterday's menu: Meal 1: Cocoa shake (Myo Lite, 1 tsp cocoa powder, shot of espresso, 1.5 cups skim milk, ice cubes, 1/2 tsp equal) Meal 2: Luna Bar Meal 3: Tuna packet, 3/4 cup sweet bell peppers, 4-5 cherry tomatoes Meal 4: " Fried " rice (1 cup brown rice, 1 cup frozen veggies, egg beaters, protein powder mixed with beef broth) Meal 5: Balance Bar Meal 6: 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup raspberries It's funny, but yesterday was pretty unplanned. I don't usually eat too many bars. I did when I started, but got kind of sick of them. The kids and I have swim lessons though, and Meal 2 fall right in the 'car' time. I need to plan better, because the same thing happened today. Today's menu (7/2): Meal 1: Cocoa shake (what can I say, I love it! Cut down on the milk today and used instant coffee). Meal 2: EAS Protein bar, 1/2 cup cherries, pickle Meal 3: Tuna and apple Meal 4: 2 slices 'light' wheat bread, 3 oz turkey, dash of mustard, broccoli Meal 5: Fool yourself cookies, celery Meal 6: ??? I'll be at Bridge! Maybe a Luna bar Exercise good so far. Cardio is tonight before Bridge, have to work at Jazzercise. Hope everyone is doing well! Guest guest
Nope, I throw it in uncooked. I use the standard Quaker rolled oats. Guest guest
Well, Rita, thanks for asking! I only play Bridge about once every 6 weeks, so I am not very good. I enjoy it though and my mom's friends are very nice to me. I did okay, but my mom got all of the cards. Whoever her partner was at the time was the one who got the high scores, she stomped us all! LOL. Kathleen > How was the Bridge game and how did you do? > Rita > Re: Perfect Week: JUL 2 > > > So far so good for me. I really had the urge to sneak something > yesterday, but I didn't. Guest guest
When I think of M & M Meats, it certainly doesn't bring to mind sandwiches...more like hmm, something that melts in your mouth not in your hand! > Great idea - thanks gnat! > Kim > Re: Perfect Week: JUL 2 > > > > Well my day has gone not too bad - not quite as good as I'd hoped but dh > > got to M & M Meats too late to get our chicken and we're completely out so > > I ended up having a turkey sub (6 " ) from Subway for my fifth meal. Guest guest
Is it manually powered? Those drive me crazy, I can't use them. But if not, I think you should go for it! We have a Nordic Track and I can't do it for the life of me. I've tried, and I can go very slowly on it. Not gonna hit my 10s that way. -- In @y..., " Noelle " <noelle@j...> wrote: > Okay, I have a walking question. I have a treadmill that I use at home and I swear, I can not run on it. Guest guest
It is electric. Its a Pro-form from Sears but one that is narrow, so you don't feel like you have allot of room on the sides and I have to hold on. I mean, I can take my hands off and walk as long as I look at my feet. This sounds stupid. Guest guest
LOL - I've actually never even thought of it that way! Guest guest
Thanx Kathleen! AND ... I deleted your earlier post without answering it - about your bridge game last night. That's the wonderful thing about BFL ... that was yesterday and there is always tomorrow! I took a free meal tonight and overindulged! :-( Rita Re: Perfect Week: JUL 2 Nope, I throw it in uncooked.
