Guest guest Posted August 11, 2007 Report Share Posted August 11, 2007 I was diagnosed with CML in Sept. 2002. As soon as I started on gleevec I stopped my menstrual cycle. I was 51 at that time and my periods had been regular up until that time. I do not have hot flashes, but I do experience some night sweats. Has anyone out there had this happen to them, or do you still have a period? I have spoken with my doctors, do they don't seem to have any answers for me. I don't miss the periods at all, but I wander if it has something to do with the medication or the disease itself.
