The drug company came through for me!!

Well just when I was getting very down on things. My former employer had

canceled my insurance so I was stuck without rx coverage, and I did not know

how I would get my gleevec. Well the social worker at my onco sent in a

request to the manufacturer and they gave me the Gleevec for free until I

can get into a medicare rx program. Which will not be until toward the end

of the year during open enrollment. The great thing is even though I had to

jump through more hoops than a circus clown I got my Gleevec yesterday. So

it makes me feel better about the RX companies, at least they have a heart

of sorts and will not just let someone kick the bucket because they cannot

afford the medication they need to stay alive.
