Guest guest
Also I just wanted to let everyone know that after being told I could not have medicare part D I just got something in the mail saying I know will have it effective Oct 1 of this year with 0 premium?? Got to love how the US goverment loves to confuse people lol. _________________________ Hi Terry, I am not sure why you are qualifying for premium free Medicare Part D? I think it might have to do with your income level? I do want to tell you a few things about Medicare Part D, so you can look into some stuff. I assume you will be able to choose the policy you get (they are all from private insurers) or do they assign you one? You want to look closely at the different policies, as some do not cover Gleevec. I am now on Sprycel, in a trial, so free drug.....but I chose a Humana plan. They all have a 'donut hole' non-covered amount......so I figured my drug would end up costing me approx. $6K a year on this plan. Maybe you will have full coverage....and no donut hole? I am sure you can go on the Medicare site for some information or call and talk to someone about your options with Medicare D. You might want to do this before Oct. if you have to decide on a plan then....or maybe you will just be assigned a plan? C.

The only other med I take is not covered but I can get assistance with that from my onco office so I will end up paying what I use to pay when I had insurance. I made sure to call about this because I do know of people that have had problems with part D and the plan they were placed in. Right now I just have to make sure CVS takes that plan. Guest guest
Matt, Loritab has worked great for me, I take 4 500mg 7.5 pills a day and some days I do not need to take four. It has greatly reduced the bone pain I use to have. Terry On 8/30/07, mtmaynor@... <mtmaynor@...> wrote: > > > > Terry: > > Does Lortab work well for you? Guest guest
Terry, I've had a lumbar and neck fusion, but still need medication for pain. But when using ice doesn't help, I use a product called Biofreeze. They have an online site I've ordered from before, and passed them along to friends'-it really helps my husband and I alot, and it's not overly expensive. I use it on my knees also-I have chronic pain from my neck to my calves. To me, Biofreeze works better than over-the-counter stuff, but I think it's just a matter of finding a product that works for you. I originally got samples from a chiropractor I used before my pain got too bad for them to work on me. I haven't been to the site in awhile, still have an unused bottle, but they may have samples you can try? Hope you find some relief. Sincerely, Jeannie ________________________________
Guest guest
Thank you, Jeannie, for infomation. I have used biofreeze before. It has helped some. I have gotten some from company nurse and from a chiropractor. Never found in other than from these. I appreciate the response.
