Guest guest Posted October 1, 2007 Report Share Posted October 1, 2007 At my last appointment, the doctor became concerned that the Gleevec was pushing my Platelet count and Neutrophil count down to low. Therefore, she instructed me to take the Gleevec (440 mg) six days a week instead of seven. She told me not to worry as many people have reached remission and stayed in remission taking Gleevec six days a week instead of seven. If any one has any insight into this, please let me know.
