Guest guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 Hi , I should also say that if you've been taking Xanax for any length of time (which you say you have), you should NOT stop taking it without consulting your doctor. All of the benzodiazepines are addictive to some level and cannot be stopped cold turkey. On the other hand, since you've been taking it so long and presumably without any problems, you may not need or want to stop taking it. You should discuss this with your doctor if you're at all concerned with the interaction. As I said in another post, just because two drugs interact, doesn't mean that they can't be taken together. It just means that some closer monitoring may be necessary.
