About the Organization:

FXB INDIA Society works in the areas of HIV/AIDS, disadvantaged children &

Health & Human Rights. In India, FXB India Society has initiated and supported

programs in all the States & Union Territories.

FXB’s mission is to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS, support & advocate for the

orphans & vulnerable children left in the wake of the AIDS pandemic and to

ensure Human Rights for the children infected & affected with HIV/AIDS.

FXB India Society, Meghalaya & Sikkim branch office is looking for a suitable

individual for the position of Program Coordinator. Duty station for the above

position would be in Shillong & Gangtok.

Major Responsibilities:

The principal role of the Program Coordinator will be :

Planning & coordination of the programs & financial matters, office

administration, report writing & regular correspondence with

Regional Head quarter at Kolkata;. Advocacy & networking with other agencies and

organizations.

Qualifications & Skills :

Post graduate in social science or BSW/MSW with computer Knowledge in MS Word,

Excel, & preferably in PowerPoint & Internet;

Should possess good command over English & local language (writing & speaking);

ability to work in a team environment in an openly communicative way.

Desirable :

1- 2 years experience of working in similar position;

Scale of Payment & Other Terms:

Commensurable with qualification and experience.

An initial six months contract will be offered with an option for renewal after

successful completion of the term.
