Guest guest
I've sat back and read all the dialogue and, quite frankly, I don't care how any group other than MYSELF thinks of Zavie and the zero club. He is my hero and I appreciate a time when my daughter had no insurance to help pay for Gleevec and he found a way to get it. I appreciate that he set up this group. And he was there to greet us when we had to join it. Like many others, I was met with the hope and support we needed to get us through the most horrendous time in our lives. Zavie only said what others of us were thinking. And yes, that might get some folks irate but I speak the truth. I know from watching my daughter the effects of Gleevec and CML and I know my daughter can barely walk up a flight of stairs without stopping for a breath. I am very thankful to know she has been approved for her Social Security Disability. What others are doing, I don't care. My life centers with my own family. Guest guest
_____ From: Lottie Duthu [mailto:lotajam@...] Sent: February 20, 2008 4:16 PM Zavie Subject: Zero Club Zavie, Another email bounced back with the same message that someone in the group's email is incorrect. Looks like I'm out of the loop before I even get in. LOL. By the way, I have an oncologist who offered to answer questions if you would want to have a Q & A. I would collect a few at a time, send them to him and then skoot them back to the group, but I can't do that if my emails aren't going through. Lottie Dear group, Congratulations to on the new grandbaby. Another one to spoil, no doubt. They are just great and you can always give them back to their moms when you've had enough. Not something you can get away with when you are " the mom " . These zeroes must be putting a strain on Zavie, please members, we don't want him to have a heart attack. LOL. Congratulations on the zeroes, too and may you stay that way and continue on and stack up the logs for a rainy day. Isn't there a limit on how many Yippee's can he have in a day, anyway?????????? Best wishes, Lottie
Guest guest
Lottie, thanks for your encouragement, and the Irish blessing ( My maiden name is O'Brien) so I have always counted on the luck of the Irish. I am feeling a lot better mentally at least . I have terrible bone aches from my hips to my ankles. My heating pad is now my best friend .I am not complaining though , you guys certainly put this in perspective for me. My glass is always half full now and never was before. Thank you all for that . I think I am a better person for it . You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.
