Question's on Sprycel & Side Effects

My daughter (14) is a CML patient and on Gleevec (600mg) for 2 years.

Resistence was identified just recently and she has transitioned to

Sprycel (140mg) just this past week.

I am curious to know anyone in a similar situation, on Sprycel, and the

side effects encountered and durations. The 12 pages of " side-effect

horror " provided by our Onc Team and Pharmacy is helpful, but

recognizing everyone reacts differently, I am curious to know how

others are affected.

Only into Sprycel for a week, we have experienced (separately) brief

headache, brief abdominal pain, and now facial rash.

Any information is helpful! Also, anyone needing tips on coping with

teen gleevec side effects, ways to ease the awful taste and nausea,

please ask!
