Guest guest
I have a family member that is having chronic herpes virus outbreaks, chronic hives, and blood tests show low WBC and high indirect bilirubin. Both are just under and over the limit of low and high limit. She has had what she perceived as mild pain around the liver at one point and the inability to eat without feeling overly full even with a small amount of food. This symptom is not always present but is strong when it is. This is what prompted her to ask me to order the blood test in the first place. Any ideas or should she be concerned at this point. The hives and chronic herpes has been ongoing for over several months. No obvious jaundice. Doesn't drink that much, maybe one glass of wine or grand marnier, or one or two beers daily and more often only 3 to 5 days a week. I've looked up on the internet but everything is very vague and can be a number of things from bone marrow cancer to liver disease to just plain ole stress. She did lose a very loved dog recently but the problems started prior to that. Any ideas or treatment options? She eats very healthy and exercises daily with weight lifting and Yoga.
