Guest guest
Oh my goodness, I just found this group by accident and had to join. I have had CML since 2001, and have been on Gleevec since 2003. How lucky am I? Here in New Zealand the government pays for Gleevac for approved patients. I have been in remission since mid 2003, thanks to Gleevec, and I cannot believe how lucky I am to be able to have this drug and not have to worry about how to pay for it. My wish is that all governments would realise the value of keeping people well and self supporting. I work a full-time job and therefore do not require and financial assistance. I guess it's a trade off. Take care all.
