Guest guest
Hi e, My husband wears a Red wristband with the word " Relentless " written on it. We received it at the " Light the Night Walk " sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They can also be purchased in larger quantities on the www.lls.org web site. I like the word Relentless as it accurately decribes our ongoing persuit for a cure! Good Luck. Hope this helps. Guest guest
That is a good question. My husband and I were at MD Cancer Center in June for his testing and we purchased leukemia bracelets in the gift shop that were orange, they are also imprinted with the words, Strength, Hope, Faith, and Courage. Laurie wife of Robb, diagnosed 12/14/06 remission since 10/07. > > I have been visiting this message board ever since my diagnosis in > 7/06, I think a may have posted a few times, but I mostly just read all > of your expert advice. Guest guest
Thanks for all the input. I have started running and plan to run in a few local races and hopefully run a marathon or at least a half marathon eventually this year. I would like to wear a ribbon that represents leukemia. Thanks e - In , Rosemary Delaney <rosiedel59@...> wrote: > > I got a two different bracelets on plastic and the other stone and they are both orange. > > > @...: rwilli72@...: Mon, 21 Jan 2008 21:39:43 +0000Subject: [ ] Re: Ribbon Color? > > > > > That is a good question. Guest guest
e, If you just started running and want to train to run a marathon wearing a ribbon that represents leukemia you might consider joining Team in Training. They will help train you while you raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It is an experience you will never forget and you will be helping a great organization. I have trained with them for three century bike rides. This year I am thinking of training for a marathon or a triathlon with them.
