Hello- I just wanted to add my input about your daughter. Gleevec is a

tough drug. I was on it for 2 1/2 years and suffered most of the time and

ended

up on disability, unable to work, I was in the hospital ER frequently and

having to get IV hydration at home from the side effects. All this and had 3

little kids to take care of.

I am happy to say, that I am on Spyrcel and am living again. I am able to

function and don't have many of the same issues that I had with Gleevec. I

still have some but not anywhere near the degree with Gleevec. Seems that

people who had tremendous side effects with Gleevec, seem to be managing much

better on this new drug and getting some quality of life back. I wish this to

be true for your daughter. Give it a try, its worked wonders for me.
