My eyes were so swollen my eyebrows looked like Jack Nicholson's -now they are thinning but my eyes are almost normal. Keep in touch with your doc regarding yours symptoms because for a small group of people they can't tolerate the medicine. Sending you positive thoughts. Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Just a quick question. I've had some confusing terminology thrown my way. is Gleevec considered chemotherapy? Also, today's blood count showed a 20 drop in wbc. I've been on Gleevec 1 week, so I'm pretty pleased. Still feeling pretty sick though from Gleevec. Take Care, H. Guest guest
That a question I got several time by friends or family. The answer is a yes. Chemotherapy is defined in most dictionaries as a medication use to kill or control cancer cells, in opposition to radiotherapy and immunotherapy. Although it is quite different than the chemotherapy of most other cancer (smarter, long term medication, better tolerated). I don't think I would be diving most week-ends if I was on the old chemotherapy. Marcos. On 10/23/07, <untilpayday@...> wrote: > > Hello Everyone, > > Just a quick question.
