Guest guest
Congrats Kathie! :} [ ] 4 years and going strong! Dear Listmates: I want to celebrate with those of you who are on this CML journey with me. This is my four year anniversary of being diagnosed. It's interesting how easily I remember the date. With this diagnosis everything changed. And yet, today I am healthy and active. I have been blessed to be at PCR since June of 2005 and I have very few side effects from the 600 mgs. of Gleevec (down from 800 mgs.) I take daily. I also have anemia problems and take 40,000 units of ProCrit to keep my counts in an acceptable range. I want to thank all of you for your courage, your support, your knowledge, and your willingness to share the good, the bad, and the ugly. Without you I would feel so alone. God willing I will be on earth for a long time. And so will you. Cheers, Kathie in Florida dx: 12-06-03 800 mg. Gleevec 12-26-03 - 4-20-06 600 mg. Guest guest
Congratulations Kathie! I celebrated 7 yrs May 24th 2007. I think we all remember that devastating day of diagnosis. And now we celebrate that date of diagnosis with gratefulness. With consistent research in CML I pray we will all live the normal life span that our creator had planned for us. ez
