You're not doing anything wrong. I have the same issues as do several of us.

Some on Gleevec are lucky and don't get side-effects and then there are those

like us who do. Unfortunately the fatigue and sweats are part of the

experience. You may want to get your hormones checked for the sweats just to

rule out hormonal issues but likely it's just Gleevec. Naps help with the

fatigue and a good fan and heated blanket help with the sweats/cold.

Good luck and hang in there!

I am in remission. My red count is 10.6% which is low but not low enough for

medication.

The hemocrit is 33.

Is anyone else this tired and always in a sweat (no fever). Am recovering from

bad bronchial

cold which abated after two different antibiotics....what am I doing wrong?

Dear ,

I was taken off Gleevec for 4 days and feel great!!!

Before that I could barely walk, the cramping and bone pain was so severe!

I am back on 3 days now at 300mg instead of 400mg and feel anxious that it

will happen again. I would never wish this on anyone especially myself. I also

wish for more energy.

Good luck
