Guest guest
Hello Stavros and Everyone, I just got up a little while ago. Have been very ill just recently and went to bed about midnight here in Northern Virginia, USA, scared and hoping that my side effects from Sprycel will not return and that I can continue the sprycel trial at the UMM Greenebaum Cancer Center in land. However, I'm also going to check into the possibilities of nilotinib (Tsigna?) in case Sprycel strikes with another set of side effects. It's very important that people know how important it is to remain vigilant even though many of us are in some degree of comfort because our new drugs are still in the first stages of effectiveness and are still technically on trial. I'm very happy to report that I'm awake at this hour and feeling much bettter both physically and in the mood to live, not die. Love to All, L [ ] Stravos Dear Stravos, That is what researchers are working on. Dr. Talpaz told me he was working on a cure and they were very close to it. I heard he was preparing 5 more drugs for CML. They are already managing it as any other chronic disease. We have several people who have had more then 10 plus. Canada seems to be a good place to be if you have CML. There are several people who live there who are 20 years and beyond, so the future looks bright for CML. You will see it in your lifetime and it will be a long one. Good luck in your CML journey. Sincerely, Lottie
