Hi Edgardo-

I am a 35 year old patient who has CML and I am from Las Vegas. If you can

go to the Nevada cancer institute off of the 215 over in Summerlin you can

see Dr. Manno. He has several CML patients and is on top of all the current

CML stuff. He is very compassionate and a very good doctor. He knows all

about Gleevec as well as Spyrcel and you will be in good hands!

I forgot to mention, you can call the Leukemia and Lymphoma society as well

there in Vegas and ask to speak to . She is in charge of patient

services and she can hook you up with support groups. They have them in

Summerlin and monthly. They are really good. Also, me and my hubby

started one for blood cancers called " Young Bloods " . They all meet monthly and

its a really good release to go and listen to others and vent and share

experiences.

Hi

I'm glad my prayers were heard, I thought I was the only one

in vegas with CML. Being diagnosed has been a shock to me and my girlfriend, and

makes us rethink all our plans. It seems that you are an RN, we also work in the

health area I am a sonographer and my girlfriend is an RN. Anyway we really

appreciate your support, as you know at this point I have a lot of questions and

there is nobody to answer them. I will call Dr. Manno tomorrow and see if I can
