Guest guest
Hi all, Reading the posts about educating our drs that are not cml specialist I thought this paper in the October 15 issue of Blood may be helpful. If you can't get a copy please feel free to ask. How I treat chronic myeloid leukemia in the imatinib era M. Goldman Blood 2007 110: 2828-2837. Prepublished online July 12, 2007; DOI 10.1182/blood-2007-04-038943 Another interesting article, but more technical : Bcr-Abl kinase domain mutations, drug resistance, and the road to a cure for chronic myeloid leukemia O'Hare, A. Eide, and W. N. Deininger Blood 2007 110: 2242-2249. Prepublished online May 11, 2007; DOI 10.1182/blood-2007-03-066936 Cheers, Marcos
Guest guest
Hi Marcus I would appreciate it if you could forward me a copy of this article - I cannot seem to find it online. Thanks. We had a meeting with 's doctor yesterday and his comment about " if a qualitative pcr was negative, how necessary is it to do a quantitative test? " really bugs me. I thought we had him more educated than that already. Sigh. my email address is (livingwithcml at ) Many thanks Annie 's mom http://livingwithcml.blogspot.com > > Hi all, > Reading the posts about educating our drs that are not cml specialist > I thought this paper in the October 15 issue of Blood may be helpful. > If you can't get a copy please feel free to ask. > > How I treat chronic myeloid leukemia in the imatinib era > M. Guest guest
I am not sure people can read these articles online without a subscription to Blood. If not, feel free to ask. I have the full arcticles for both papers. Marcos.
