Guest guest
Hello, Thanks for your help. I have received my second FISH test results. They are as follows: FISH Results: Negative for BCR/ABL, t (9;22), fusion by FISH Nuc ish (ABL1, BCR)x2 (200) Interpretation and Comments: The FISh study showed no evidence of a BCR/ABL Philadelphia (9;22) translocation. A normal hybridization pattern (BCR/ABL1 dual fusion probe; Abbott Molecular, INC/BYSIS, INC. ) was documented. The classical translocation pattern reported in the September 2007 study was not observed in this study. The BCR probe spans the common breakpoints of both the major and minor BCR. If a low level of BCR/ABL positive cells or minimal residue is suspected, analysis by RT-PCR should also be considered. This test will not detect other abnormalities that may have clinical significance. Am I a ZERO? Thanks for your reply (especially ZAVIE) D
