Guest guest
The official recommendation, according to this abstract, is that a patient should have a cytogenetic analysis (a BMB/BMA) every 6 months until CCR is achieved, then every 12 months after that. PCR's should be done every 3 months and if a patient is not responding optimally, mutational analysis should be done. This abstract shows that many patients are not being followed according to these recommended guidelines. http://www.abstracts2view.com/hem07/view.php?nu=HEM07L1_788 & terms= Tracey
