natural cure for CML

Hi Claudemir,

Neither Gleevec nor Sprycel can cure CML, both drugs are able to keep

the leukemia under control but they don't cure it. There are other

pharmaceutical drugs that can also help in controlling the disease but

none of them offer a cure.

For a very select few. Interferon was able to cure them but the numbers

of people who were actually cured from Interferon came no where near

the number of people who had debilitating side effects, some of which

caused permanent damage so this is why Interferon is no longer used as

front line treatment.

Bone marrow transplants have been known to cure some people but again

there are risks and quality of life issues involved so patients need to

consider their risk versus their chance of a cure. For some people,

there are no other options left besides transplant so there are no

risks to consider for these people.

Other than that, there has been nothing in the literature to indicate

that any other treatment will even treat CML, let alone cure it.
