Guest guest
Hi Marri, First off, welcome to the group, but sorry you had to find us. I remember we had a member a few years ago who had gone through Hodgkin's lymphoma prior to her CML diagnosis but I'm not aware of anyone with NHL and CML. I think we've all gone through the " what did I do to get this " question but unfortunately few ever find an answer. As for the BMT issue. I know they use autologous transplants quite a bit in lymphomas and they are successful but with CML, the only transplants that are successful are allogeneic transplants (using donor cells) because you need to replace those original CML stem cells that caused the problem in the first place, otherwise, they just grow back. Take care, Tracey dx Jan 2002 > > Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. I was diagnosed with CML in > November. I had Lymphoma in 2001.
