Guest guest
Thank you for this, Margaret. I have had to take lasix and potassium before and nobody told me this tip ever. I didn't have muscle cramps but it could have happened and I would never have guessed it could be the timing of the two different meds. This once again accentuates how valuable our interactions as patients are so helpful. Cheers, [ ] edema and muscle cramps Wanted to share a recent discovery about medications for these two problems. I'm on 40 mg lazix for edema and potassium chloride 20 meg. I was taking them both at the same time in the morning and had muscle spasms throughout the day. Recently I began taking them 6-8 hrs apart and have had fewer and less severe muscle cramps and the diuretic is working better. The doc never mentioned this but it's made a remarkable difference in the quality of my daily life. Margaret , mpraymond@... margaret-raymond@...
