You will get a lot of responses telling you what that means but congratulations, you are doing well on your med. Sometimes it takes hearing great news like that to push through some of the side effects. I am always looking for more Zero Club members. To get a number, you have to be at CCR (Complete Cytogenic Response). This is 0/20 via a Bone Marrow test or less than 5% by a FISH test or a 2 log reduction by a PCR test. I know that you are new to CML and these terms may not mean anything to you. Just ask questions on this list and we will answer them. I have copied this email to 2 people in the Zero Club from Rochester NY and maybe they can suggest a CML specialist in the area.
